2006 Travel Costs

When this survey was conducted, fuel prices were at an all-time high and were significantly affecting all aspects of travel pricing. Bottom line—many travel managers were (are) struggling with management of travel coffers. Although fuel prices have dropped to a tolerable level, managing the high costs of travel continue to prevail. Fifty-six travel professionals responded to this year’s survey and report on this year’s expenditures and how they are attempting to curb the effects of increasing travel costs.
