Greg Harper has been named president at Runzheimer International, the Wisconsin-based management consulting firm, it was announced today by Rex Runzheimer. Harper was promoted to executive vice president in May 2004, and prior to that, was vice president of the company's Business Vehicle Services unit. Runzheimer, who previously held the title of president, will remain chairman and chief executive officer.
"Greg has demonstrated a strong ability to lead our organization," said Runzheimer. "During the past several months, he has effectively increased alignment and brought consistency across all business units. His strategic vision, combined with excellent leadership capabilities, will allow us to continue to grow our business aggressively and develop new products throughout the company," Runzheimer added.
Prior to joining Runzheimer International, Harper was a vice president at Placon Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin, the plastic parts manufacturer, with operational and financial responsibility for a 140-employee division. Harper's professional experience also includes eight years at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), the global information technology consulting company where he held business development and customer relations positions.
