In Runzheimer International, a Wisconsin based consulting firm specializing in transportation, travel and living cost, recently re-launched the Runzheimer Benchmarking Service, a web-based benchmarking portal, with two additional surveys.
The new surveys were added in response to requests for benchmarking information on current compensation and relocation hot topics. “When something becomes a hot topic in the industry and we receive a number of questions on it, we assess whether or not the topic lends itself to a benchmarking survey,” says Genevieve Uecker, Product Development Manager at Runzheimer International.
The Runzheimer Benchmarking Service offers surveys on human resource and relocation related topics, such as relocation policies and costs, strategies for addressing the challenges of relocating employees into high-cost locations, as well as examination of the ways companies are using intern programs as part of their human resource strategy.
Members of this online portal can mix and match surveys to create a customized tool that addresses their specific benchmarking needs. The tool allows members to access the actual data accessible by individual responses so data can be filtered and comparisons limited to specific industries, company sizes or expanded to include all industries and company sizes. However, individual responses are not tied to specific company names so confidentiality is preserved.
“We wanted to give human resource and relocation professionals a benchmarking resource that is not only robust in its content,” says Uecker, “but also in the way they are able to access and manipulate the information to meet their needs.”
