Runzheimer International has been recognized nationally for proactive policies affecting its military employees by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense volunteer organization that provides free education, consultation, and, mediation for employers of Guard and Reserve employees.
The awards, presented today during a Burlington, Wisc. Rotary meeting, recognize Runzheimer’s military policies that go above and beyond what is legally required, such as providing “differential pay” while Guard or Reserve employees attend two weeks of summer training, and extending profit sharing benefits to Guard or Reserve employees called to active duty service.
As part of the awards ceremony, Rex Runzheimer, Chairman and CEO of Runzheimer International, signed a “Five-Star Level Statement of Support,” symbolizing continued commitment to Guard and Reserve employees.
“Reserve and Guard members deserve the support of every segment of our society,” said Greg Harper, President of Runzheimer International, “and we are extremely pleased to be recognized for doing our part to support them.”
