October 20, 2005
Manhattan Runzheimer International, a leading provider of travel program, policy and cost benchmarking information, and the Canadian Alliance of Business Travel, an education and research association providing integral Canadian benchmarking data and educational exchanges for corporate travel executives, today announced a joint project to provide Canadian corporate travel managers with a report on the travel management profession in Canada.
An online survey launched today will remain open for 12 days to gather information from both groups’ Canadian travel manager contacts on their companies’ travel programs, expectations of travel managers, their experience and more. The initial findings will be presented November 22, 2005, at Canadian Alliance of Business Travel Education Exchange Day in Calgary. Runzheimer is making the full report available to members of Runzheimer’s Travel Management Network.
"Runzheimer is pleased to again partner with the leading Canadian association for corporate travel professionals on a research project,” said Brian Van de Water, Vice President of Global Mobility Services at Runzheimer International. “Just as our previous joint initiative on online travel booking, this report will offer Canadian business travel executives a unique tool to help them understand their changing industry as they prepare for the year to come.”
"The Canadian Alliance of Business Travel and Runzheimer International have authored separate reports on travel management in the past,” Tanya Racz, Canadian Alliance President said. “By joining together on this survey, we are expanding the base of respondents -- and pooling the resources of the two leading organizations conducting such research -- to create the only report of this type available in the Canadian market.”
