At its 1st Annual Total Employee Mobility Benchmarking Forum held in Chicago on November 10th, Runzheimer International recognized Deere & Company, DuPont, Xerox and AT&T with Employee Mobility Best Practices Awards for exhibiting effective approaches in employee mobility management. The awards recognize each organization for achieving results in a specific area of employee mobility that reduce costs while maintaining or increasing employee productivity, enhancing customer service, and increasing shareholder value. Integration of employee mobility programs, processes, and approaches across core business processes is another qualifying characteristic that distinguishes recipients.
More than 40 leading organizations were evaluated by Runzheimer International as potential candidates for the awards, covering their deployment and management of relocation, international assignments, business travel, business vehicle, corporate aircraft, and mobile/home office programs. Runzheimer selected organizations that have achieved the most notable impact in one or more areas of employee mobility management. The awardees are: Deere & Company for relocation management and corporate aircraft management; DuPont for international assignment management; Xerox Corporation for travel and business vehicle management; and AT&T for mobile/home office management.
Selected other organizations also received special recognition by Runzheimer International. While these organizations did not reach the level of Runzheimer's Best Practices Award recipients, they demonstrate employee mobility approaches, results, and integration strategies that are worthy of recognition. Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP®) received recognition for its practices in relocation management; Thrivent Financial for Lutherans was recognized for its travel management programs; and DuPont received recognition for corporate aircraft management.
"Congratulations to these six leading organizations. Their successes are truly deserving of recognition and serve as outstanding examples for how other organizations can achieve maximum value from improving their employee mobility management," stated Greg Harper, President of Runzheimer International, during the Forum's Awards Ceremony.
