If you are planning to take your Valentine out for a sweet date this February 14th, expect to spend about $462, according to recent research by Runzheimer International, the Wisconsin-based management consulting firm.
Not surprisingly, New York City is the most expensive Valentine’s Day date location of the cities surveyed, with lovebirds in the Big Apple expected to shell out about $608. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Albuquerque darlings will enjoy an equivalent night out for approximately $354.
The costs considered for each location include dinner for two, complemented with two glasses of wine each, two tickets to a movie, an overnight stay in a first-class hotel, a gift of pearl earrings and a dozen delivered roses.
