Anytime is a great time to visit a spa!

It’s an opportunity to relax and release the stresses of a busy lifestyle. Most spas offer manicures, pedicures, facials and massages as basic services. Besides the obvious benefits of relaxation, stress reduction, and a little personal pampering, these services may offer other advantages as well.

For example, facials gently exfoliate dull surface skin giving skin a radiant appearance. The treatment also includes deep cleansing to unblock pores which makes skin appear healthier. Lastly, the facial treatment stimulates and moisturizes leaving skin refreshed and glowing.

Runzheimer recently examined the costs associated with some of the services the average person may purchase from spas to compare the costs across the United States.  

If you are set on getting the best prices for your pampering, you may need to clear your calendar for some traveling. For the lowest priced manicure, you can head out in the morning to Boston for a $20 basic manicure then hop back on a plane to Dallas for your pedicure for $40. But you can't rest there, you'll need to go North to Minneapolis for your facial and your massage for $70 and $75, respectively. If that's too much jet-setting for you, the best place to go for the overall price is Minneapolis.
