Electronic Data Systems Corporation has received Runzheimer’s Total Employee Mobility® Management Best Practices Award for its integrated and holistic approach to managing workforce mobility programs. “We view the process of external benchmarking as an essential element of continuing to be a top performing organization. EDS’ ability to meet client needs through the efficient movement and deployment of its talent is essential. Getting the right person, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time to support the client are critical success factors for talent management at EDS,” said Lisa Halfmann, EDS’ Global Employee Services Manager.
In order to be acknowledged, an organization must be a participant in Runzheimer’s Total Employee Mobility® benchmarking process and must demonstrate that their program consistently:
• enhances talent management capabilities;
• achieves favorable outcomes relating to cost management and productivity;
• enables greater organizational agility; and
• strengthens employee satisfaction and well-being.
Integration of programs, processes, and approaches between each professional discipline of employee mobility is another qualifying characteristic that distinguishes the recipients of Runzheimer Best Practices Awards.
“The organizations recognized understand the important role that benchmarking and effective workforce mobility program management play in improving talent management and overall financial results. These leaders have continued to improve their programs year after year and have set an example of excellence that others can learn from,” said Greg Harper, President of Runzheimer International.
Several organizations also received recognition for their best practices, meaning they have exhibited specific approaches, results and integration strategies that are innovative and industry leading and should be acknowledged. Recognition plaques were provided to the following organizations:
